Mi Reloj Interno is a mobile application designed to help users understand and improve their circadian rhythms for a healthier lifestyle. Developed in collaboration with scientists from CONICET, the app leverages a robust algorithm based on extensive data analysis to provide personalized habit recommendations. By integrating advanced light measurement capabilities and a user-friendly interface, the app empowers individuals to make impactful changes in their daily routines.
Challenge: Validating a Reliable Circadian Rhythm Algorithm
Building a scientifically accurate algorithm to analyze circadian rhythms and provide actionable recommendations required rigorous development and testing. The algorithm needed to process complex data sets, deliver precise results, and integrate seamlessly into a user-friendly application.
Algorithm Validation Through Iterative Testing
We began by developing the algorithm as a Python prototype, allowing the scientific team to test and validate its accuracy under various scenarios. Once the algorithm was proven reliable, we ported it to a JavaScript library and integrated it into the React Native app. This approach ensured consistency and accuracy across platforms, providing users with scientifically-backed recommendations while maintaining a smooth development process.
Mi Reloj Interno processes this information using an algorithm we specially developed based on data from the Argentine population. Thanks to this, it provides users with personalized recommendations on how to adjust their habits to synchronize their circadian clock with the environment, thereby contributing to improved health.
Results
The application is now helping users across Argentina optimize their habits for better health. By combining scientific rigor with cutting-edge technology, Mi Reloj Interno has become a valuable tool for both personal wellness and ongoing research into circadian rhythms.
