A standout attraction was the autonomous bus operating within the Buenos Aires Innovation Park, a project spearheaded by the city’s government. It was truly amazing to witness this technology in action, edging closer to becoming a common reality. Although its current route is admittedly short, the autonomous bus appears to be working perfectly.

Their technology enhances traceability, streamlines processes, and—most appealingly—eliminates the wait for the bill, a common frustration for diners. Whether you’re in a hurry, need to use the restroom, or have errands to run, waiting for the bill is a pain point MenuApp effectively addresses!

One of the most engaging talks was delivered by Sebastian Miserendino, the CTO for Latin America at Globant, a major player in our industry. He shared how they tackled the challenges of scaling up while maintaining a lean structure. Their approach of moving quickly, breaking things, and embracing mistakes was truly inspiring. When asked about their impressive roster of top-tier clients, they credited their success to the organic growth achieved throughout their journey.
